Swinging Sounds of Summer Concert Series

Held each summer during the months of June, July, and August, the Swinging Sounds of Summer features the talent of local musicians.

The 2011 concerts include: June 23 - Poco Loco, July 21 - University of Cincinnati Alumni Band, Aug 18 - Cincinnati Dancing Pigs

Each concert starts at 7pm.  The June 23rd concert will also feature a Women's Art Sale, where female artists who live or work in Price Hill will have pieces for sale.

Youth Photography Program

The Youth Photography Program is a free workshop series for young residents of Price Hill.  Each of the three rotating curriculum teaches our young neighbors about the history architecture, animals, and natural environments of Price Hill, all the while they are gaining skills in photography and digital media.

The 2011 Workshop will be held July 18 - 22 and is open to Price Hill residents who will be entering the 6th through 8th grade.  For more information or to register your child, contact Beth Andriacco.

Program Goals:

Following completion of the course, students are gifted a framed picture of one of their photos and a family membership to the Price Hill Historical Society and Museum, courtsey of the Dater Foundation (the generous sponsor of the annual workshop series).

Piatigorsky Foundation Classical Music Concert

Evan Drachman established The Piatigorsky Foundation in 1990 in honor of his grandfather Gregor Piatigorsky.  Piatigorsky deeply believed in the healing and inspiration power of classical music.  He once said, “Music makes life better.  Music is a necessity.  It is rich.  It is imaginative.  It is magnificent.  And it is for everyone.”  The Piatigorsky Foundation is committed to carrying on Piatigorsky’s mission by evoking cultural curiosity through educational and accessible live performances throughout the country. Each fall Santa Maria Community Services and Price Hill Will’s Arts CAT sponsor a musician from the foundation to perform in Price Hill.

Cultural Heritage Fest

The first Cultural Heritage Fest was held in 2010.  The Fest is a coordinated effort of the Arts CAT and the East Price Hill Business Association.  For more information about this year's Fest, check out Price Hill Living.

Holiday on the Hill
