Annie Darlin Gordon

MYCincinnati Winds Teaching Artist

and Volunteer Coordinator

Annie Darlin Gordon is the Winds Teaching Artist at MYCincinnati, where she teaches flute, oboe, clarinet, and hopes to soon incorporate the bassoon. Annie earned her Bachelor's and Master's in Music from Oberlin Conservatory and Carnegie Mellon School of Music, respectively. She is a freelance flutist in the Greater Cincinnati area where she plays with regional orchestras, Queen City Opera, and her Wind Quintet, Wayside Winds.

Outside of her life as a musician and music teacher, Annie is a DIY home renovator. She recently completed a 1 year AmeriCorps service position with Habitat for Humanity and she is now employing her construction skills at her own home in East Price Hill and any place that will let her build or work. She also enjoys doing short-distance triathlons, and can be found running, cycling, or swimming when not working.

Annie's musical and DIY renovation pursuits can both be followed on Instagram - @flutist_flautist and @doityourselfdarlin
