HEALTH AND WELLNESS
Taking care of family or finances doesn't have to come at the expense of your health. We strive to give the community free programs in our neighborhood that are easy to access and for beginners.

Let’s Get Physical! is a FREE resident-led fitness series that fosters healthy living and physical activity in Price Hill. All classes are free and all skill levels are welcome! Due to the continuing rise of Covid cases, Let’s Get Physical classes will not be held in-person, but will be held on-line, both on Zoom and Facebook Live on the Let’s Get Physical page, as follows:
Monday 5:00 pm - Kristina
Tuesday 6:00 pm - Brenda
Wednesday 6:00 pm - Stacey
Saturday 10:00 am - Kristina

Brenda first discovered yoga watching Lilias Folan's yoga program on PBS when she was about 12 years old and has been practicing throughout her life. It was not until 2012, however, that she learned that she wanted to teach, and she completed a 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training recognized by the Yoga Alliance (at the 200-hour level) at World Peace Yoga, Cincinnati, Ohio. Since that time, she has enjoyed teaching yoga privately and in classes to adults and children at various locations, including sites on the west side through Price Hill Will Brenda is certified to teach multiple styles of Hatha Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation.
Can't make class this week?
That's ok! We have a class video!

COMMUNITY GARDENS
Price Hill Will in collaboration with local non-profits, schools, and the Price Hill Rec Center currently has five community gardens for residents’ use and enjoyment. Each of our gardens gets residents out-of-doors, working together in the soil to grow fresh vegetables that they can take home to share with family and friends, improving nutrition and supplementing diets.
We also strive to create a supportive environment for hands-on learning, experimentation, observation, and life skill development around growing and eating healthy foods, maintaining a natural ecosystem, and living a healthy lifestyle. Each of our gardens offer extra opportunities for engagement, things like recipe swaps, cooking classes, language classes, arts activities or yoga. We are proud of the friendships born out of our gardens, bringing our neighbors together, building bridges between the various socio-economic and cultural groups in our community
