Annie Darlin Gordon is a Lead Teaching Artist at MYCincinnati and Founder and Director of Do It Yourself Darlin.

Music: Annie earned her Bachelor's and Master's in Flute Performance from Oberlin Conservatory and Carnegie Mellon School of Music, respectively. She has had the opportunity to perform worldwide, in countries such as Israel, Singapore, China, and Brazil. Currently, Annie is Principal Flutist of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Second Flute for Queen City Opera, and flutist for Wayside Winds, a local Woodwind Quintet. Annie joined the MYCincinnati staff in 2015 and spearheaded the founding of the MYCincinnati Wind Ensemble.

Home Renovation: In 2018 Annie completed an AmeriCorps service year on the Construction Crew with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati, after which she worked for 2 private design and build companies. In the summer of 2020, Annie founded Do It Yourself Darlin, which currently offers pay-what-you-can, beginner level home repair workshops to everyone ages 16+.

Outside of her two lives as a musician and handywoman, Annie enjoys hiking and DIY renovating her own beautiful old home in East Price Hill. Annie's musical and DIY renovation pursuits can both be followed on Instagram @flutist_flautist and @doityourselfdarlin.
