Bang the drums! WACC Groundbreaking Ceremony celebrated on Jan. 19th

Last Wednesday we celebrated the start of construction on the transformative Warsaw Avenue Creative Campus (WACC) during its Groundbreaking Ceremony.

Watch the livestream here.

Rather than going the traditional route of cutting the ribbon, or digging the heavy shovel into the ground, we thought we’d ring in this milestone with music! Definitely the perfect way to honor the beloved firehouse now home to MYCincinnati’s Youth Orchestra. Renovations to the firehouse will be made in the Spring through early Fall.

We would like to give a special thanks to the Model Group, the City of Cincinnati, Fifth-Third Bank, the Cincinnati Development Fund, Local Initiatives Support Corporation, the Finance Fund, The Port, and the East Price Hill Improvement Association community council for helping us to bring this catalytic project to fruition. The Warsaw Avenue Creative Campus will be a hub of arts, creativity, and opportunity for the people and families in Price Hill.

We will continue to provide updates on construction progress for WACC via social media. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram! In the meantime, we are seeking input from the community to help us envision a new and important logo for WACC. You can fill out our brief questionnaire here.
